Im growing pumpkins

Yay its exciting stuff this home growing lark hehe..

My brother gave me two tiny pumpkin plants some months back, so i put them in either end of a grow bag :)

My brother failed to tell me they would take over the garden!! I got one going down the side of the house and the other onto all the building materials lol

But look i have a pumpkin and its getting big too!! hehe

Got about 5 small ones too, that i am hoping will also grow, well see :)

Got quite a few other veggies growing, all doing ok, well most are haha

Will it be ready in time for halloween? i hope so :)

Union jack nails

Two hours before we were due to leave the house to go to my sisters for a royal wedding party, after watching the Royal wedding on the TV first, i decided to go and paint my nails with union jacks hehe..

Sock monkey :)

I had so much fun making this sock monkey, going to be making some more very soon!

Strawberry jam, yummy!

I decided while I was in the supermarket, that I would have a go at jam making, yes you heard right, hehe, I have never ever made it before, but aparently, my breadmaker has a jam setting, and the leaflet that came with it has the recipe :) yay! got me strawberrys and jam sugar, forgot the lemon, tut tut, so ran back to shops hehe.

Its all in the machine, now, so only time will tell, if it works or not!! wish me luck, if it works i'll post a picture up :)

Canvas paintings & a card!

I have never painted on canvas before, and since making these, i am hooked! why o, why, haven't i tried this before!! I love it :)

I stamped on the canvas first, before using my water colours on them.

I also did a card to match the fairys on canvas.

Poddington pea!

I made this little poddington Pea, for a challenge and it won we runners up prize yay!

I made him from beads and wire and he is only small as you can see :)

Do any of you remember the Poddington peas?

Down at the bottom of the garden,

They're called The Poddington Peas

There's Cre-Pea, Black eye-Pea and Dum-Pea.

I made billy the other week and love him to bits he is so cute, he's 9" tall and is made from mohair and glass eyes and so on, the same as the others i have made.

I spend a lovely afternoon crafting away in my craft room and made all these!

A card using lolly pop sticks as the border (you no me and lolly pop sticks) lol

Bracelets and earrings!

Well today i decided to make some jewellery and i had loads of fun making these, so much fun that now you can not see my craft desk for jewellery bits and bobs lol

The daisy chain bracelet i made while watching a demo on it on UTube.

The bike i made out of wire, had no idea what i was doing at the time, just now i wanted it to end up looking like a cycle lol never done wire work before.

The red bracelet was a kit i won some months ago, that i finally got round to making, it is rather on the large side though for my wrist so i will have to shorten it quite a bit.

Note book

O i am abit behind with my blog, have been unwell, but i am all better now lol

So here is what i have made so far.

This note book was for a challenge on the CB forum, i use it for all the challenges and swaps that are going on, so i can keep up with it all, (well try to anyway lol)

I have also finished this cross stitch picture a little while ago, still need to get a frame for it though! This cross stitch card i did also for a challenge on the CB forum, and i won!! Yay!

Easter chick!

I made this chick for a challenge on the forum, i didn't win, but i am still glad i made him, he looks really good sitting on the fire place, I have named him Collin. lol
